Well it happened. Geordie Guy (Ivan), Aircooled68 (Dave), Ivan's mate Chris on his BMW and myself turned up at a cold & windswept Melling tonight. Sadly Mrs Matlock had plans for the latter half of my evening, so I had to forgo the ride, but we had a chat then rode over to the far more pleasant bike meet at the Scotch Piper at Lydiate, 5 miles up the road where a far more mature crowd meet up. This is a good bike meet on a Wednesday night for future get togethers. Even with tonight's crap weather there was a good turnout, some stunning bikes and tea & coffee. The barbeque was being fired up as I left [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img] . Good to see you again Ivan & Chris and nice to meet you Dave (and thanks for the tea at the Scotch Piper [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tup.gif[/img] ). I have to say Dave's 850 is immaculate and has a great exhaust. My filthy bike was well and truly put to shame. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hidden.gif[/img]

The exhaust is a fantastic 2-into1 full race pipe with the baffle removed. It was on the bike when Dave bought it, so my guess is the fuelling is slightly out. I have to say though it sounds fantastic. Ivan was stood behind it when Dave started her up and he nearly jumped out of his skin [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/evillaff.gif[/img]

Yep, Dave's 850 is a stunner, had a good listen and a point, and for me it I thought it just needed balancing.

I have to say, the two into one exhaust, sounded Fantastic !!!!! And Boy can it shift..... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/badgrock.gif[/img]



The Hen & Chickens carpark is looking a bit worse for wear, there's more glass than tarmac.



That was my first time at the Scotch Piper, [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/good.gif[/img] much prefer it to the H & C. We should make that the meeting place in future.
