is anyone going to the Hen and Chickens bike meet tonight (Wednesday)? its near Southport/Liverpool at a place called MELLING.....

Hope you have a good one but I thought the Hen and Chickens was at Melling and the one just north of Maghull at Lydiate on the A5147 (I think?) is the Scotch Piper. Both have bike nites and normally a good turnout - just avoid the usual nutters!?

well spotted..... i have corrected my original post to reflect the correct place name. i realised i had cocked up when i was halfway there!
anyway apart from me and our kid.... saw two other TDMs there a Blue 03 900, and a silver 03 900. didnt see the riders tho! and i didnt have any carpe tickets to hand out

I was there last night and saw a couple of tdms but didnt know there was a meet going on though....who did i miss then

We usually go to the scotch piper just down the road from the hen and chickens, last6 night was the first wednesday evening we went there, we took our lessons and test across the road in fast track....but we plan to go again next week and probably most weeks after, we liked it there.
If the silver one is the one I thin it is then i dont think he/she is from this site, i saw that bike last week at the scotch piper but couldnt see the rider.

today's merseyside meeting at Southport is only the second social bike gathering I've been on.
Been riding for 5 years !!!!!
Went with the XJ900 squad up to Devils bridge , last year, that was a laugh and goin to France with them in the summer.
Looking forward to todays ride out.
