As is my way, I have an aversion to rusty anything.
So I made myself a new stainless gear lever adjustment rod. Putting one on a TDM is a simple matter, but on this Honda it is buried up behind the gearbox next to the swingarm pivots. Getting at it proved very difficult, and getting the linkage back in was also hard, until I hit upon the idea of using blutac to hold the crossbolt flanged nut in the ring spanner..
Sadly no one will ever see my stainless rod, but I know it will be rust free for years ð
