I have gone over to the dark side and bought myself a Honda ST1300 to tour long distance on.

2008 with only 6330 miles.

I have some experience of these, as I worked on the LAS paramedic St1100 and St1300 bikes now in preservation in a museum. They have big miles on them and we have had to do very little to them.

Can't go too far wrong with those. Bit heavy, but brilliant bikes other than that. A lot quicker in the twisties than people realise too.

Its all back together finally. Brake bleeding on these is a complicated job, left front caliper also has a master cylinder on top of it, fed from rear brake and rear master cylinder also presses centre pistons of calipers. Bleed nipples all over the place.

They're next to the k1300s on my list of "next bike" (still no multi-bike dispensation from the dept of home affairs, so its a swap needed), they do look lovely. Is the centre stand standard?
