More In Hope Than Expectation
........probably not possible, but has anyone ever succeeded in removing a scratch from their helmet visor?

my virtually new Multitek has mysteriously acquired an irritatingly large mother-(expletive deleted) directly I front of my right eye

..........and I've only just recovered from the shock of coughing up for the helmet.....even at the bargain price I paid........

.......still, the glass-half-full part of the equation is that if I fail to remove the blemish and it continues to irritate, I'll have to invest in one of those grad-ed Bob Heath visors which I really loved when fitted to my previous Synchrotek

.....still agog to hear of any magic procedures.........Jiff
If it is light scratching you may get lucky with plexus plastic polish

though there may be a problem if there's a coating (more likely on the inside).

Plast-X polish may also work if it's a fine scratch, or there's a product for plastic caravan windows (from Halfords IIRC) though I can't recall the name atm.

The old dodge for scratched thermoplastics like acrylic baths etc. was Brasso, though I'd suggest that would be your last resort.from a solvent standpoint. Simichrome is a finer metal polish, but with the same caution.

Then there's Colgate............... [Image: 4chsmu1.gif]
