More In Hope Than Expectation - jiff - 18-07-2012 ........probably not possible, but has anyone ever succeeded in removing a scratch from their helmet visor? my virtually new Multitek has mysteriously acquired an irritatingly large mother-(expletive deleted) directly I front of my right eye ..........and I've only just recovered from the shock of coughing up for the helmet.....even at the bargain price I paid........ .......still, the glass-half-full part of the equation is that if I fail to remove the blemish and it continues to irritate, I'll have to invest in one of those grad-ed Bob Heath visors which I really loved when fitted to my previous Synchrotek .....still agog to hear of any magic procedures.........Jiff More In Hope Than Expectation - TDMTAM - 18-07-2012 If it is light scratching you may get lucky with plexus plastic polish TAM not tried this stuff but may be of use. Plast-X polish may also work if it's a fine scratch, or there's a product for plastic caravan windows (from Halfords IIRC) though I can't recall the name atm. The old dodge for scratched thermoplastics like acrylic baths etc. was Brasso, though I'd suggest that would be your last resort.from a solvent standpoint. Simichrome is a finer metal polish, but with the same caution.
