Sounds spooky - reminiscent of Celtic pixies shifting stuff around after dark... Does it mean, similarly, that we have to be specially careful not to upset staff or bad things will happen? Reminds me - it'll soon be Xmas and time for Santy's tipple and piece of cake left on the hearth..
Am I wrong, or is there an important link ("subforum" or whatever) missing between the Knowledge Base (the natural point of entry for anyone chasing techie stuff) and JBX's archive?

Maybe we need to be generals to see it? <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Glad to hear I'm not going mad! Whenever I've wanted to use JBX's database I've had to go directly to his website, which means knowing it exists, and the address - hence my concern for others coming new to Carpe. (Unless we want to keep the meaty stuff for supporting members only.... ? ). Even during my short membership I've seen so much useful techie stuff come up, often repeated for new members and relying over and over on the knowledge (and patience?) of the "old lags".
BTW does JBX get Carpe support for his activities?

I believe that is what was meant by 'general topics'<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
So, back to the main point - the links need to be rechecked, and if necessary reorganised a little, to make important elements - such as the JBX resources - more obviously and immediately accessible. The amount of technical insight flying around is also on the increase and at risk of being lost, or at the very least having to be repeated by key people - as long as they're around to maintain the knowledge of where things are at.
A little bit of an aside, but with Christmas coming, what proportion of supporting members does Carpe have? Rather promote a sub. than a pair of socks?

The JBX resources should be readily accessible now, I also had a bit of trouble finding them.

Thanks Thomas. Descriptive subheading to JBX resource (ref your other thread) will be a useful guide.
