Knowledge base - wicklamulla - 27-09-2006 im trying to start a new topic so as i can drop in bits if info that always seem to be hard to find and people are always asking about but it seem i "do not have permission to post here" !!! ???? how come as G, Dappers and Seamus have posted there ? Whenever I've wanted to use JBX's database I've had to go directly to his website, which means knowing it exists, and the address - hence my concern for others coming new to Carpe. (Unless we want to keep the meaty stuff for supporting members only.... ? ). Even during my short membership I've seen so much useful techie stuff come up, often repeated for new members and relying over and over on the knowledge (and patience?) of the "old lags". BTW does JBX get Carpe support for his activities? The amount of technical insight flying around is also on the increase and at risk of being lost, or at the very least having to be repeated by key people - as long as they're around to maintain the knowledge of where things are at. A little bit of an aside, but with Christmas coming, what proportion of supporting members does Carpe have? Rather promote a sub. than a pair of socks?
