Wonder if I can take with me a "maintenance free" battery for the bike as a check-in luggage...? Anybody done it..? I'm flying (easyjet) to Milan to pick up my bike, I know the battery will be dead (is old and has been dying for months), Read the airline "fine print" and it says: "no wet cell batteries are allow"... BUT..! you can take "leak proof" wheelchair batteries!!!
Question is: "will the TDM classify as a "wheel chair"...??? Maybe I can say at the airport that my Yamaha wheel chair is stranded in Italy without a battery???
Buying the battery in Italy will mean more money (taxis, etc) and time wasting... Here, I got a car and know exactly where to get a good deal on the right battery!
Suggestions are welcome
