The PCD of the mounting bolts is different - very different - 110 vs 150. so it won't bolt to the wheel.

Why not simply ride one or two gears higher than normal? Start in 2nd (and burn the clutch) and change up early? If you are commuting do you ride at high speed?

You propose a change in gearing of at least 27.7% - that is extreme. So much so that I went back to the original posting to check it wasn't 1st April.

There would also possibly be chain clearance problems.

A Google search found 37 tooth rear sprockets for TDM900.

SpeedoHealer might correct speedo and odometer errors. Unless yours is an ABS model which needs no correction for gearing.
