I think the top left logo with boike looks monkey (though I dunno how many colours that is). I am an artist but it doesn't involve graphics or anything with skill, and no its not con.

I can ask him if you want ?
any preference on what colours and what size?

do we need the full web address, as www.carpe-tdm.net takes us to the old site?
I have designed commercial logos and things before (and I'm a marketing bloke) so I don't mind adding my tenpenneth worth. Frankly I would use the KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid) principle and not bother trying to create anything new when the site already has quite an attractive design .
I think combining Guiness' and DaveB's ideas could work - keep the round shape and wording from guiness and add Dave's "Carpe TDM" bit in the middle (loose the bike altogether) - I'm of the opinion that shadow always looks a bit naff though, and is difficult to get right in stickers...

ET, you may be able to help me in my next module on my Bsc course, it on strategic marketing planning
wasnt liking the first one
last time i made the tshirt with just text i got the remark of people not knowing what its about
hence i'ld like to see a reference to the bike
the yamaha logo ... tricky ... but gives me an idea
edit:
i'ld like to see that with JUST the vertical fork goig thru it
looks a bit painfull or is it a thin rider, Mr G how about the 3 forks in middle, bike on opposite sides riding around clockwise between top and bottom text?

I was just thinking how cool this would look with the boike in the centre....and then scrolled dooon. For me thats the Carrotty job right there......

With DaveB's capital lettering on the lower text section.
