<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Not heard of MOT testers being so fussy, usually 2003 TDM900 is good enough.
If you are certain that it is a 2003 model, then the Yamaha workshop manual refers to it as TDM900( R ). Yamaha also quote the "model code" as 5PS4(for Europe) or 5PS5 (for OCE) but that is mainly used for ordering spares, or for working out the year of manufacture.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
It was first registered March 03, but who knows if it actually a 03 spec bike. HOWEVER...I looked harder at the manual which referred me under the seat, where there is a little sticker bearing the legend "5PS1 - 050" So I figure that must be it. Thanks all you guys. Now I hope he doesn't fail it because, as I discovered yesterday, the hazards don't work. Was there a thread on the old forum about this?
