Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
Can't work out the alcohol tester thing. If you have one is it not for your own use to check yourself before you ride.

So you check yourself & get stopped you dont have one. Do you need two. Surely the police have their own & don't rely on these iffy things.

If they keep going at this rate you will need a spare pannier just to carry the garb you need just for France. Liberte, egalite, fraternite, you do as I say.
I've got the first aid kit, spare bulbs and a fluorescent vest that I wear in Blighty and in built up European areas. Vest comes off elsewhere. I won't carry an alcohol tester or have a United Soviet States of Europe sticker.

yea as the french law stands you have to carry 2 breathalisers ..because if you use one to test yourself [ thats what there supposed to be for ] then when you ride off you then do not have one ...they come in a pack of 2 anyway ...but when i was over in october you try finding a breathaliser in any of the shops ..theres none ... but you can get them on the ferries for a whopping £8 the robbing bxxxxrds ...

In the caravan-shop in the next village to get the Alc-tester for 2.50 €.

He same cost on the Internet.

Instead of £ 8 on the ferry you can also 10 € for the French police to pay a fine.
