Thought I'd take the twisty route to the biking mecca Squires for a sausage cob and a coffee. Tagged on to the back of some guy on a Triumph and had a spirited ride over there. 150 miles in total and 56mpg.

Not really busy but still plenty there...

A silver MV Augusta Turismo Veloce will be present at the Cook - if Boris says OK.
Â
PS they go well - the rear LED indicators are prone to failure dur to water ingress & LED No plate light fails too.
Italian innit.  If that's all that fails then it's a success eh. I was lusting for one after seeing one online but the seat height is about level with my chest. lol It looks like a small-ish bike in the photo but it's not at all in reality.
Lubbly...it do sound loike you mighta tried gettin on that boike SR? .... It's godda trellis frame to climb up.
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
That's not such a bad idea I guess...but summat else to go wrong...is it an elastic band around the brake lever?

Yeah, it's part of the safety cut out system so prolly will go wrong at some point. Not an elastic band, he used spaghetti.  It's actually a foot lever near the rear brake lever. :unsure2:

A friend has an MV TV,his first proper bike. First thing to fail was the indicators (rear)...forgotten what they cost, but remember sucking my teeth! I think the looks are marmite, and a bit "form over function". Nice tho'....
