A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - Studley Ramrod - 13-06-2021 Thought I'd take the twisty route to the biking mecca Squires for a sausage cob and a coffee. Tagged on to the back of some guy on a Triumph and had a spirited ride over there. 150 miles in total and 56mpg. ![]()  Not really busy but still plenty there...   [attachment=o14264]  First notable bike I spotted was this  Moto Guzz V85 TT [attachment=o14263]  Strolled over to where the Kawasaki fans had congregated....not one but two ZRX1100's  [attachment=o14261]  Then spotted this beauty. MV Augusta Turismo Veloce....niiiice. Not that I'll ever own one, the seat height is huge.  That and the price tag.   [attachment=o14262] A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - dablik - 13-06-2021 I can just see meself sat on a Guzzi, lovely bike A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - alanfavell - 13-06-2021 Nice ride out SR  A silver MV Augusta Turismo Veloce will be present at the Cook - if Boris says OK.  PS they go well - the rear LED indicators are prone to failure dur to water ingress & LED No plate light fails too. A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - Studley Ramrod - 13-06-2021 Quote:I can just see meself sat on a Guzzi, lovely bike Bit loike a TDM with shaft drive.  Engine out for a clutch change apparently. Quote:Nice ride out SR Italian innit.  If that's all that fails then it's a success eh. I was lusting for one after seeing one online but the seat height is about level with my chest. lol It looks like a small-ish bike in the photo but it's not at all in reality.A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - dapleb - 13-06-2021 Lubbly...it do sound loike you mighta tried gettin on that boike SR? .... It's godda trellis frame to climb up. A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - Studley Ramrod - 13-06-2021  It also has a parking brake, I kid ye not.A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - dapleb - 13-06-2021 That's not such a bad idea I guess...but summat else to go wrong...is it an elastic band around the brake lever? A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - Studley Ramrod - 13-06-2021 Yeah, it's part of the safety cut out system so prolly will go wrong at some point. Not an elastic band, he used spaghetti.  It's actually a foot lever near the rear brake lever. :unsure2:A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - dapleb - 13-06-2021 I'm liking the elastic band idea more! Still, it looks pretty damn cool. A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - alanfavell - 13-06-2021 The silver one will be for sale............ A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - Studley Ramrod - 13-06-2021 Find out how much and I'll see what's in my piggy bank. lol  The one in pic is the RC SCS model....£21k new ! A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - peter-may - 14-06-2021 A friend has an MV TV,his first proper bike. First thing to fail was the indicators (rear)...forgotten what they cost, but remember sucking my teeth! I think the looks are marmite, and a bit "form over function". Nice tho'.... A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - Gdog - 14-06-2021 Those Guzzi TTs are smart, do like them ðð A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - leehenty - 17-06-2021 Quote:I can just see meself sat on a Guzzi, lovely bike Best get to saving up the pennies A Pootle To Squires Bikers Cafe - dablik - 17-06-2021 Quote:Best get to saving up the pennies ![]() |
