Identifying your TDM - Guest - 16-08-2007 hello all, just bought a TDM 850. according to these numbers its a 2000 model on a 52 plate first registered in 2003. still a great bike though. Identifying your TDM - wicklamulla - 17-08-2007 Tony/ Pantbhoy is there no 4TX5 ??? Panters i would have thought the white sticker on the frame rail would have read 4TX5 no ??? Identifying your TDM - Guest - 17-08-2007 i know nothing, just that it says on the subframe 4TX6, maybe the japs are superstitious about the numbers 5 and 7, they are a strange bunch!!! Identifying your TDM - marksymonds - 22-10-2007 That was a useful post - my 2004 delight has turned out to be a 2003 fraud, as confirmed by Yamaha. Does anyone know the difference in spec between the two, so I know how p*ssed off to be when 'chatting' to the dealer who sold it? Identifying your TDM - marksymonds - 22-10-2007 aha! thats interesting - found a bill for dealer fitted immobiliser, not something an 04 would need twice Paid 3,400 for it in july (on a sunny day) 18k miles at the time. Great bike, but not happy about question marks.. HPI was ok, though.
