[b]Looks like the new piston rings and a different set of barrels have achieved what I wanted them to. Now on 300 miles and I've still got all my oil
[b]Obviously I'd expect the engine to start using oil at some point but the initial result is still reassuring. Will be taking the old barrels to a pro measureneering bod fer accurate measureneeringments in a few weeks just to see if they are ovalled/tapered/out o spec.Next up, swinger needs a lick o paint (might go ferra black wan !) and I godda fair few Henty bling bits to fit fork oil needs renewing and rear calipot needs an overhaul. Also got a black Tank cover, kindly donated by Sidestand, to fit and my bellypan is gonna be painted at some point. Handguards need sprucing up and the bike needs a good clean/polish.Still need to spend money on a decent zorst, front discs/pads, new C&S and other bits.
