[SOLVED] disable "new topic notification" emails?

I looked all over the control panel, didn't see it, I've gotten a bunch of emails telling me each time somebody starts a new topic. Can I turn this feature off??? I don't want a message for ever new topic, just for posts in the threads I'm subscribed to...

have you subscribed to any of the forums?


on the right hand side close the top of the page you'll see a button "Options". click there
have a look from which section you are getting notifications and go turn that off in each section.

Funny I've just got the same thing all new threads are being sent I haven't subscribed so I cant turn it off.

I like the email notifications. Problem is this has never worked for me - I'll get one occassionally, but that's it. I need that to get hooked back into the forum - I'm sure its one of the reasons I don't post here Like I used to. CMC ones come up, I go in there..then run out of time...

I'm getting them as well. Only started today and already driving me mad!
If I can't turn them off I'll have to quit the whole damn thing!

found the setting and it has been reverted.
