It does look nice I must admit.
Does it use a detuned GP 800 engine, Yamaha will have plenty of those going spare.
That looks really cool
Do you know are they doing it in Yellow

doesn't really do it for me, I must admit.
looks like the front end is parts from the Honda Hornet and Kawa Er6n thrown together. The tail end looks like it came of a GSXR. Frame looks cheap (plastic over tubes). It's just too much like any other naked bike currently on the market.
I prefer the FZ6 and FZ1 for looks. The 800 engine will probably be a blast though.

Thats prolly cos it's an inline 4 naked.
Think I'd go for a Street Triple over the FZ8 though.......in my little dream world
The old z650 was/is a nice looker....

MCN Yamaha 2010 Full page advert this week, No TDM in the line-up.....
Orwell motorcycles have a blue 2009 model on special offer at only £6999! They're listing the TDM as a current 2010 model, though (at £8019).

Doesn't set my heart racing. Only thing of note are the downpipes, a little reminiscent of the 400/4 I thought. I'm on the same hymn sheet as Studley, don't think there will ever be a better looking nekked 4 than z650 / 900. Specially with a jacked up back end and an alpha 4 into 1

Same here. I'm sure it is a reasonable bike though.
ps. I really don't like the look of the headlights that seem to be appearing on all bikes at the moment.
