A long weekend is probably more ideal as it gives a bit more scope for people to join,,,, the area where Mark suggests is really nice, was there last September,, but i think a bit furhter North lends itself to a few more options in terms of riding.

Good luck Dave,, quite a bit of juggling to get an event sorted.

Hi Mark,

Was looking for meet to be around Snowdonia as i cover this area for my job and know the area well...
also its less than an hour from holyhead giving the Irish lads a chance to visit

Hi all .. this sounds good to me as I can get the boat to Holyhead and I,ll be almost there.. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/clapping.gif[/img] 9th/10th or 16th/17th JULY suits but I would need the friday aswell on either to give me time to travel down , get ferry, find the place, put up tent etc... I'm already doing the German trip and my annual Aviemore pilgrimage [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif[/img] , so I'll have to give this a miss (or get a divorce [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hide.gif[/img] ). However, you'll be close enough for me to pop out and meet up for a day trip. I'll tell her I'm just popping out for a loaf [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif[/img]

OK although I'm only an honorary member since TonyD took and rebuilt my bike, I'd really like to make the N Wales weekend on my new baby (Street Triple R) if allowed!

This is subject to Tony Archer getting my seat rebuild done, otherwise my lily-white ar@e wouldn't manage the mileage, also depends on accommodation details as camping won't be an option with my limited luggage options. Unless I come on the Burgman 650 instead and then I expect I'd get stoned (not that sort).

Oh, also subject to SWMBO pass yet to be agreed, can the date be set please to allow negotiations to commence - I saw 16th/17th July in initial plans to allow German contingent recovery time.

I'm doing the German trip too, but since I'm already divorced I will try to make it. It would be a ride up Friday evening, camping and back Sunday evening for me. Lived in Chester for a while so know some of the roads. I didn't have a bike then though. Had a Westfield which I sold to get back to 2 wheels.
