You should be fine as LED's are generally fairly low power. A better solution though would be to use an automotive relay, use the headlight as the switch signal (pin 85 or 86 with the other one earthed), power pin 30 from the battery via an inline fuse, and connect the positive side of your lights to pin 87. The relay uses a miniscule amount of power from the headlight connection to hold the switch closed and all the power comes straight from the battery, Â
