Pootle Up To Cropton
Had a run up to meet Favs and his mate Ian for a night of camping, drinking and eating at The New Inn, Cropton. Smile  Lovely weather and a decent brekky to start off the day.

I then made my way over to Seaways Cafe, very popular with bikers and an ideal starting point to explore the roads less travelled in North Yorkshire.

Unusual bike of the day award goes to this...

I found some good roads with zero traffic, no idea where they are.

I forgot to take any photos after getting to Cropton,  Lol  suffice to say it was a great evening with great company.  Hats off to Head Chef Ian who rustled up a delicious campfire meal of spuds a la jaquet, so sauges and firepit barbecue beans. All undertaken after the pub visit and nil accidents.  :good:

great area, I used to do the 2 stroke meet at Squires and our destination was Seaways going through the little roads.

I could never find my way back though and always ended up in York, only been for 5 years in a row  :rotflmmfao:

I'm off there for 2nd August forra weekish camping at Squires, but if you have better campsites, I'm all ears

"As I Lay Rubber down to street, I pray for traction I can keep. But if I skid and begin to slide, please dear god protect my ride"

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs,  fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.
I noticed the campsite at Squires last weekend, looks well manicured and not too busy.  Squires now have these mini cars for kids so ya might find you're woken up with them pootling past, depending on when you wake.
I used to live about 3 miles from Seaways. Never went there though, it was too near to home!  Smile

I had a pale ale (average) and a few Yorkshire lagers....nice !  Then back at the firepit for a few sips of Hogwash and them some other stuff I can't remember what it was. Lol

I was after a pint of Blonde but they didn't have a full range on offer.
Might of been a pale ale, it's a bit hazy, careful of the Hogwash, it made favs a bit amorous last time  Lol

I made sure he didn't get any. Lol

Yeah, it's a nice part of the country for sure.  Camping would be better with some hot running water mind.
