My now very old Puma Goretex boots have finally decided to leak enough for me to replace them, so I treated myself to a pair of Altberg Roadrunners. They took a while to come through, having placed the order back in June.
First impression - very, very well made and comfortable from the first time I put my feet in them. Iâll  a proper review once Iâve broken them in and tied them out in some more tasting conditions, but Iâm really not expecting any issues
Cerwin Vega speakers by any chance Trev ?, look very similar to mine. ð¤

I did email a couple of weeks ago to chase them up as the original expected delivery date was early September, so maybe that sped things up a bit. I had a pair of Gaerne MX boots some years ago and they do remind me of those a bit in the sense that they just feel strong and robust.
Quote:Altberg all the way had mine 22 years now resoled a few years back, still excellent fit and super comfy. They don't make this style anymore though
just loike yerself Rallyist! all joking aside i may buy a pair of Altberg boots at some point as i spend a lot on chainsaw boots and beds and seeing as ya spend plenty of time in both quality and comfort is important.
