<!--quoteo-->QUOTE<!--quotec-->a 60-70mph on a nice sweeping bend just after leavin Skye...
Mid corner the left side of my C2 visor impacts with a very startled seagull
a bit of a wobble commences
I pulled up further down the road to remove brown stain & discovered visor catch missing
Back where incident happened i find said catch & about 20metres away a twitching seagull
Size 10 ended the pain & with my lid fixed, a quick photo & a mild case of whiplash we carried on to Applecross...

From what I can see I can only do it if I pay to upgrade to Photobucket Pro.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->lol just seen the vid of me coming down the hardknott pass and screeching to a halt.... Great pics Tony! Sandy (A1) could have some great vids but im sure the cam was too far back on the mudguard and therefor pointing skywards but could be wrong. Anyways, unless he posts on here which he hasn't before we'll all be deprived! I'll ask him!

Thought that was your bike mounted ATC not a handheld camera until you turned, from the way it was wobbling around I thought you'd traded in the Bandit for a Buell

Agree, particularly re. the wildlife action. Did ye clear the corpse off the road btw. or leave it as a wee test fur Nanook?
On further reflection, it could've been even more interesting., especially as these things can turn awkward And as winter approaches....

Would of most probably been the end of the tour if it had hit me, luckily I managed to move my head and dodge it - just!
After the bend was a lovely long straight stretch of road so I gassed it coming out of the bend got quite a whay up the road to realise that Tony was no longer behind me, so I stopped and turned round and went back to find Tony holding is neck and looking rather stunned
But we got to carry on and finish our great tour of the Scottish Coast which was cool

45degree flat spots on a PR2
this was done in the pouring rain too, those tyres rock <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Tony are these the tyres you replaced in mid July? What mileage did you get?
yes, 5500miles
front has 2-3mm left before wear indicators
rear has 1mm-ish left in the centre, but almost nothing on the edges
but most of the milage has been heavily loaded up touring and i didnt have slime in them this time
the last set did mainly motorway milage and i got 6500miles out of them
