No mate, the Bird is sold provisionally.
It's a wonderfully quick thing and seamless power but ti's too much for teh Dales roads, too easy to get nicked and banned and thats ony in second gear.

The black R1200s is the one thats gone pop. They are fitting a new engine to it but Im not overly confident in their product anymore to be honest. Im going to end up on a powerful 4 thats harder to work. Love twins tho so its a problem.

Thanks H Man but I've already got a set of Givi panniers and will be putting the tubular side racks on as they only take a few minutes to put on and off. The Givi top box rack and plate (and a Scottoiler!) will be thrown in as part of the deal.

So far we have nine of us confirmed for the bunkhouse a a few camping. Bunkhouse people are:

We could really do with a few more to fill the bunkhouse. If we don't we will all have to pay another quid or two on top of the £27.33 as that price is based on filling the bunkhouse. Anyone out there thinking about coming along - STOP the indecision RIGHT NOW!! We had a great weekend last year and I've no doubt that this year will be just as good. I had been thinking of rejoining you on this year's September G2G, but it turns out that the Stavanger-Newcastle ferry will be discontinued starting September 1st. As much as I'd fancy a NO/DK/DE/NL/FR/England-the-long-way run I don't feel up to doing it both ways for two nights of partying, however good the partying.

I am planning on coming, made the Lakes, brilliant, then missed last year because of work, shite.

Currently between jobbies, so all depends if somebody is willing to pay me, if they do I'll probably miss this because I'll have to work.

If I can keep idle until then I'll be there, but camping (big tent now that I've put on 10kg - fat basser), won't make the decision until the week before though
