Of course the scariest thing about working for the government is when theres a story on the news and they say "Government scientists said..." thay mean people like us...who generally don't know any more about the subject than anyone else [Image: biggrin.gif]<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

government in this country are only interested in lining there own pockets. they use government departments to try and come up with ideas on how to get more money out of us peasants.
18 years of conservative incompetance, and now 9 years of Labour incompetance.....god help us
Mr Prescott (Fat Buffoon) is only interested in the lining of his secretarys Knickers

political corruption is everywhere. at least in south america they get lynched, here in the "civilised" world they just say sorry and keep doing it, they dont even resign anymore (which was one helluva an easy way to get away with it in the first place)

hey here the socialist mayor in Charleroi (aka little italy) was caught with his hand in SEVERAL tills, bogus adresses to be able to get several government offices in different towns (one of his "residencies" was a vacant lot... wasnt even a mailbox let alone a house)
, backhanders and more dodgy deals so the president of the WALLOON socialist party adviced (he dear not order...) him to resign

mayor "nah, i didnt know you couldnt do that... it was a mistake.
sorry? wont do it again ... cross my wallet and hope to die stinking rich"

now he has received the support of the walloon socialist union (aka MAFIA)
so walloon, socialist politicians can do whatever they want and people will even encourage them.
"you scratch my back and i'll scratch yours and steal some more of your taxmoney."

walloon socialists are freebeeing and stealing Belgium into bankruptcy

Nah, we're not trying to work out how to get more money out of the peasants, we're trying to work out how best to spend it. Far more fun [Image: smile.gif]

I don't think we're bankrupt because of the royal family it's becuase we've been in dept with the USA since WW2. Churchill went over there and promised them the earth so they would give us supplies & armourment to keep Britain going once the rest of Europe had fallen. We've been paying them back ever since (money & technology).

Interesting point that. Wasn't the war fought to avoid being occupied... but isn't there a foreign army in East Anglia still ?

So who do the Americans owe money to? Thier national debt is $8.3 million million, compared to our measly £500 million ($900m). It seems all coutries have a national debt, but who's the money lenders? Industry?

Well to be fair there's a german on the throne who's married to a greek, the patron saint was turkish, most of the government are scottish, and all the pubs seem to be run by Australians. Though to be fair to the Scots, they and the Irish are about as close as you can get to being British as most of us English are descended from saxons, normans, romans or anyone else who felt like invading in the last few thousand years.
