<!--quoteo(post=73315:date=Tue 4th Mar 2008, 05:53 PM:name=trevini)-->QUOTE(trevini @ Tue 4th Mar 2008, 05:53 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->I make the start venue as TL86907 63407 according to my map. The road name is Shakers Lane.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Sorry the road name is Rougham Hill and the postcode for the VLA centre at the top of Rougham Hill is IP33 2RX about 50yrds from lorry park.

From the A14 Take the Bury St Edmunds "East" exit and then take the Sudbury A134 exit off roundabout, about 100yrds turn left on roundabout onto Rougham Hill lorry park is nearly at top of the hill on right.

Now it looks like no-one wants to stand next to me! Who'd have thought numbers could cause so much consternation. By lucky coincidence I'm listed along with my mental age, which is nice.

Looking forward to the day...

Has anybody got any objections if I ask a mate whos got a ZX9 if he wants to tag along???

As he went for a ride with the East of England Bikers yesterday and said they all rode like a bunch of old women, werent allowed to overtake and had to keep within ALL speed limits all of the time I presume we will be sticking to limits in built up areas but once in country side

Also could be a good oppertunity to show how good the TDM's are on the right roads

It would be a heartless individual to turn away a fellow biker...it's ok with me
Now on 9er number 2 .....
Anyway, who said anything about goin' on a TDM
anyone is welcome aslong as they dont ride like a knut and endanger anyone else
obviously we are law abiding citizens

a quick reminder that technically this is a 'group' ride, ie you turn up and ride with a bunch of friends at your own liability
carpe is an owners group, not a club for legal reasons

Think we should def sort a fast and slow group.
I just ride the pace of the people I'm with unless it's painfully slow or uncomfortably fast.
