The Road to RTT: Southern Carpedians.
Wicky, SpongeyD and me'sen are up fer a less motorway based, leisurely pootle to RTT, leaving on Friday morning. Not entirely sure of the route yet, but we will be starting on the M5 (damn motorways....damn them all grrrrr) , and therefore crossing the M4 (damn motorways....damn them all grrrrr) and then it'll probably involve the A49 or A483 in Welsh Wales up to Chester way and then getting on the damn M6 (damn motorways....damn them all grrrrr) oop to the lakes.

If anyone goin ooooop wants to meet us on the way, then lettuce snow. We will be goin very close to WREXham, so if anyone in WREXham is planning on going, lettuce snow [Image: tongue.gif] .

Spongey Dave, shall we meet you on the M5? Jct 25? Will save you some mileage, rather than Exeter and then up.

TonyD, is this too far West for you?

Bony, Gill and Hedgehog?

Anyone else?

Might be able to meet up with you just south of Leominster at the junction of the A417 and A49 as we will probably coming up from Swindon. Will confirm nearer the time.

Have we got any idea on timings for this yet? Start time, meet-with-G time?
Stu

Spongey Dave is coming from Weymouth, so it may depend on what time he wants to get ooot o beeed. I think we had talked about meeting up on M5 at 10ish (though we may be running to Wicky time!).

That would give us late morning/early arvo to meet up wid the Bond party, Toneski and yer good self.

How does that fit in wiv all yous lots plans?

its 50/50 at the mo whether i'll be coming from Reading or Hereford.
if its Reading then i'll prob come off M4 at Swindon and head up the A419/417
I'll know nearer the time.

so maybe i can either meet up with you somewhere around about Worcester/Cheltenham, or maybe with Bondy at Swindon.

i dont mind on the time, i'm easy bout that, but late morning sounds good
