I thought I'd jump the gun and start another thread to save confusion!
As we already have at least one member that can't make 22 March, can we have suggestions for an alternative. That would also leave that date free for any members that want to do both. Once we have a few names and their locations, we can arrange a starting point and plan it from there.

Well done for making a move. What dates can you make and then the rest of us can yay or nay? I'm generally interested any time but have to take particular note of icy roads. Would be simpler to stick to one venue, too - last time it got messy!
I live in Thetford right on the Norfolk/Suffolk border so anywhere within about 100 mile radius is with me
Just the right distance for a good thack there and back in a day!!!
As for date's I'm pretty easy...
Obviously not dates when the WSBK and Motogp circus are in the country....
I'm easy so far as dates are concerned - any weekend is fine with me, so it's down to you guys, really.
I suppose we could aim to finish a ride out at Hunstanton with a bag of chips on the sea front. I'll have to do a bit of research to find a nice "biking route" once we decide on a start venue. As we have a few members potentially travelling up from Essex/Suffolk border, how about somewhere in that area?
Well I could do the route from say Ipswich to Hunstanton..... And boy do I know some good 110% commitmed corners that are brill when you get right!!!!!
Think it would be best to wait till it's a bit warmer thou!!!
Maybe better to use somewhere more central (Thetford-ish?) as a muster point? Short days are the prob. at tthe mo., and Hunstanton is a long way home for some of us. Maybe better to leave the coast till the summer? Just a thought.
Well I'm over in Peterborough, but willing to travel for a bag of chips (hell I even went to Avebury in the summer, cos I was bored! not exactly a 10 minute ride either.)
Meeting place around Thetford sounds ok, except for those living in Thetford, as they don't have much of a ride out.
The dates that I CAN NOT do are:-
1/2 March
21 to 24 March
12/13 April
3/4 May (Bank Holiday)
10/11 May (Thunderace meeting in Germany)
17/18 May (Back to the Dolomities to pick up the broken bits of my V Strom)
outside of those dates, I'm available with a bit of notice.

Only thinking of a muster/watering point pre-rideout. Could go for Castle whatsit as a starting point? Or is it better to meet in Hunstanton and stop off later somewhere southish? Still think that H may be a better bet for a summer meet.
Thinking about it, If we met at Red Lodge transport cafe just off the A11 that would be within the 1- 1 1/2 hour ride from most people who have responded so far. It puts us in a nice central position to start. I was thinking of Hunstanton as a finish point, rather than start.

How does Sat 5 April suit?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Think I can get away with that, though some might prefer the Sunday tradition. Depending on the route, others might be able to come across and join in the later section?
i'd be up for a summer ride out to hunstanton, not been there for chips by the sea in years. have to be a summer one for me though cos its 120ish miles (but worth it for the chips) and we all know how bad TDM lights are.
