4.petrol prices
thats just a start could go on for ever with more reasons,
i no i would rather live in a villa in cyprus or some other warm country where theres no crime, can leave bike on street without it being nicked and go riding everyday and night.
oh and last but definatly not least all the females walking round half naked
sure that is much better than 3weeks ov sunshine here rain wind and cold rest ov year

The grass is always greener on the other side.
But even that simple statement isn't actually true - apart from Ireland and maybe New Zealand you won't find any grass greener than that in the UK. Its all the rain you know.

I've never been to Cyprus, but I can guess what the Cypriot bikers complain about:
1. too hot to even walk around
2. far too hot to wear leathers, helmet, gloves.
3. crap roads
4. too many tourists
5. dangerous car, truck and bus drivers

I objected originally to your defamation of UK/England not because I am intensely patriotic but because I genuinely like the varied climate we <b>enjoy</b> in this country. I always miss it after two/three weeks of summer hols in some distant clime and am glad to return to it.
With global warming who knows you may have your above wish before you expect and therefore you could stay put - oh, but sorry, I was forgetting about them there immigrants!

IMHO assylum seekers get a really raw deal in this and most western european countries. Most are well educated, skilled individuals who want to work but cannot because of the system in this country.........we really need to educate the average Brit who has no idea what they're talking about and glean anything and everything from the tabloids after filling their memory banks with Big Brother shite and how some 3rd rate "celebrity's" grandmother gave birth to a hamster............there are rotten fuckers in all society, living in a cosmopolitan city has both advantages and disadvantages, but one thing's for sure - intolerance is the root of most of our inner city problems so go and enjoy Cyprus Carl, just make sure you don't offend the immigrant Turks <!--colorc-->

Truth be told, the immigrant issue is/has been/always will be a contentious topic. No matter where you live, those that are here want to keep it the way it is, and those that are someplace worse want to be where they think it's better.

Often they come to a place and make it worse, to the chagrin of those already there, but it's still a better place than they came from.

The issue is hot topic here in the USA right now, and very close to home in Southern California where I live less than an hour from the US - Mexico border.

And it is all part and parcel with <i> overpopulation </i> ... the root of many evils that plague modern man. At what point do we become rats in a cage, living in shit and eating our own young? And who's got the nads to do something about it before it happens? Without offending those who cling to a notion of free will ... without relying on the altruism of the individual? Might not ever happen. Suck it up and deal, or do something about it and face the consequences. Start with a vote, if you have one.

we had an English Newsagent who decided to retire, he sold the shop to Sri Lankans (not saying there immigrants, who knows could of been born here) but Barry the english newsagent had regulars in his shop who as soon as he told em, the response was " F%^&* Pa**s coming over here taking our jobs im not gonna come in here any more for me papers cancel it etc etc" but as Bazza said these people complaining and cancelling papers havnt worked for 20 years , theyve been scrounging off the state,
and do you know somet the new owners (and theres quite a few of em) are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet..... ( none of em are bikers though , ignorant little bleeders )
