I like to feel I am going off somewhere new for a wee adventure.

Cornwall is a bit like staying home and going for a ride. You dont even need special bike insurance or medical insurance.

EVEN Carol Nash recovers from Cornwall - that proves it is too close to home
XT1200Z - Big and bouncy

GTR1400 - Chaufer the wife.

XT660Z - Fun and commute.

TDM900 - Yellow.
It's called RTT so why not actually do a bit of touring rather than one specific location. We could make a 3 - 5 or 7 day tour across different locations. No real planning just all/most meet up at a certain location on day 1 and go from there. Ride all day pitchup and get pished.
Just an idea, lets have a mass debate.

You've brought to mind the image of Terry Pratchett's character Genghis Cohen and his band of geriatric marauders - principal among them being Mad Angus in his wheelchair with the scythe blades - "a bit slow and clumsy over broken walls, but a demon on the flat"

What about the I.O.M outside of the racing calendar? Cheap BB, great roads, same tongue, great pubs?

If your going to the isle man why not try in the second week of july when the southern 100 is on ( tea time / eveing races ) , it's not just a nice place to visit but some races aswell ( if your not in the pub by then ! ) and lets not forget no speed limits outside the built-up areas ( personal best on the moutain road just over 165 mph : 1992 on my old fj1200 ) . I'll be there and you can find me in Peel .
