RTT 08
Is it too early to start discussing it yet?
<!--quoteo(post=53996:date=Tue 18th Sep 2007, 07:52 PM:name=Emmett)-->QUOTE(Emmett @ Tue 18th Sep 2007, 07:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Is it too early to start discussing it yet?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I'd say it's a good time to start, as there are some general points e.g.:

1) Is it to be in Devon then? (Not Cornwall, as I recall, 'cos it would be packed with tourists).
2) Do we inform other European clubs, to bring in an international flavour, or would that be too ambitious and potentially big?

Normally someone at the previous years RTT gets volunteered to do the organising. Who was the unlucky subject this time?

What locations have beed discussed? Is it definitely Cornwall/Devon or was location still uncertain?

If it's in Ireland Tedeum has volounteered to be organiser, and I'd be happy to help.

Sounds a good option, re location + your eminent selves as organisers. Other hands would be available to help along the way.

Should this thread be relocated to give it a fresh start and not spin off RTT07?

Bondy was really set on Cornwall, so mebbe we should get a few more opinions and ideas.
A poll aint such a good idea either as you don't know whos voted and who intends (or not) to go.

Agreed - I got into a fine mess earlier this year, even on a local G2G.

Prolly right.

Let's just see what people say.

My only reservation with having it in the west of Ireland is it might be a bit out of the way for any mainland euro-type-personages. My only reservation with Devon/Cornwall is that it's a horrible motorway journey from my house to Devon.
