Hi Cineraire. Can you provide a larger version of your picture (and perhaps others?) using perhaps a hosting service such as Photobucket?
Hi folks ! It's very nice to read your messages, and to discover other TDM owners. It's good to know that some other people share your passion, whatever their language !!!

Hi Zoulo - call any time!
We have questions for Cineraire:
1) Wheel/tyre sizes?
2) Construction of front forks?
3) Final drive arrangement - sprocket? Rear only or 3rd wheel drive?
4) Brakes?
5) How long does a chain survive?

I'm from a small village located between Concarneau and Quimper.
Unfortunately, for business reasons, I had to leave to Rennes which is for sure less "grass root" than my native Finistère.
As for the "Festival Interceltique de Lorient", it will start on August, 3rd and Scotland will be the invited guest country this year!
Another exciting event just took an end today: the"Festival de Cornouailles" in Quimper.
Any chance to see you in Brittany for another "pilgrimage"?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Hi Smak,
So - a Kernev man, eh?
Sadly no Breizh pilgrimage this year - I shall be in Scotland for 3 weeks. from July 24. But another time, for sure.
Solidarity is our master word, we would never let another TDM owner with unanswered questions. But you know, sometimes french wine is a bit strong, espacially for french giraffes ( bidi)
A question for you, does it go through chains quickly? I was thinking of a sidecar outfit at some stage, I had decided I'd go with a BMW for the shaft drive, but the TDM looks soooo cooooool.

But, you have to buy an english one with outfit on the left side...<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Thanks for the link, I have toyed with the idea of an outfit so I can take my duaghter out. But in the UK there is ittle choice that looks good with the TDM Merlin look great but way to muck ££££££ for me.

I hope others follow - please report back that the natives are friendly. We even share enjoyment of an occasional beer!
In the meantime, this forum may allow you to explore any interest (as described on Ouestlekeum) in visiting Scotland or other parts of the UK (and other countries, since we are global). <!--coloro:#FF0000--><!--/coloro-->The annual "Rolling Thunder Tour" (RTT) last year was in Scotland, <!--colorc-->
<!--/colorc-->but this July it will be in the Rhineland. Next year, who knows? There is a meeting being arranged in the north of England for the weekend of September 7th. and there are regular smaller meetings which you may find appropriate. Certainly plenty of advice in any case if you want to make your own plans.
Thank you for your good English - in the course of further visits you will find many versions of the language - some regional, some purely Carpedian! <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
