Yep tis I. It's Warbirds in Florida, not the dog fight place.
Once in the air they show a stunt and then let you do it, loops, barrel rolls, victory rolls the lot. Shouldn't have had that rather large breakfast before hand though, nearly chundered.
If you're in Florida look them up, I highly recommend it.

I used to glide so not much power experience, but done a bit in Chipmonks with the cadets. would love to get back to flying but it's bloody expensive.

Same here, I got my Gliders licence through the cadets, but because I didn't want to become a staff cadet I didn't fly again [Image: sad.gif] Wen't up a few times in chipmunks and also went up in a Victor. Takes me back [Image: tongue.gif]

I started with the cadets too, managed quite a few flights in Chipmonks, they're a pig to ssteer on the ground. Then when I was working for a year before uni we had a gliding club at work (kinda usefull having a 8000ft runway at work that doesn't get much use at the weekends) that was incredibly cheap. Got up to about 8 hours solo but then didn't have time to continue at uni :-( A mate of mine from the gliding club was doing some field trials that involved him flying back seat in a Jaguar to operate the kit. The pilot asked how much flying he'd done so he told him about the giding, and while they're flying up to Wales the pilot askes "So do you fancy a go with this then" Jammy sod.

Been having a go at flying the Jetranger in MS Flight Simulator instead. I'm getting quite good, I can now land it on it's skids instead of on it's side [Image: banana.gif] [Image: good.gif]

Wife bought me a microlight flight - that was awesome - went above the inversion layer and did a tight corkscrew losing 900 feet in about 8 secs. Wonderful day.....
