Reminds me of the Only Fools & Horses joke about Trigger and his brush.

Linky dinky doo

I got these, they were highly reccomended by everyone I met who had a pair.
I was thinking about getting a pair of Alt bergs at the Scottish Bike show this year - only I went on the day it was snowed off. Everybody who has them says they are excellent, but I would want to try 'em on for size. How did you get round that Emmet? [Image: huh.gif] Meanwhile trusty old Heinz Garlicke booties continue to disintegrate from the inside out. Maybe should change socks.

I ordered them at the scottish bike show [Image: tongue.gif]

I had to get them made 'cause I've got wide footses, so they took a while to arrive.

They will send you a pair, and if you don't like the fit they'll replace 'em or refund ya. [Image: good.gif]

Thanks Emmett, thats a good service. [Image: good.gif] I reckoned cos they make walking boots they'd be good for touring, for those days when you want to go for a stroll. Can't hobble more than 100 yards in the moto x boots.

They are really comfortable, I got them with walking boot soles to make a stroll a bit easier, but the sole is still very rigid.
Emmett - which model did you get?

I'm in the market for some new boots, those from Alt Berg look good but I'd have to find out if they have a US distributor.

We get Alt Berg's issued as standard kit at work. I love 'em. My spare pair is used when I'm riding my TDM.

I think they're called the clubman roadster, I considered the lace ups, which look better, but they were 2 season boots and I ride all year round, cause I'm hard as nails [Image: rotflmmfao.gif]

Wasn't aware that I should be keeping my job a secret [Image: blink.gif]

I certainly don't define myself by it.
