I have to admit I will only ride on nice days now (I feel I've earnt that after many years of all weather riding), I would if I still had a second bike though,
I have a new colour mixed up for my frame covers (hopefully closer to actual frame colour) but waiting for better weather to apply it,
riding weather is coming soon (for me)Â

Yeah just for fun and not very often anymore.
Furtling Dave's (DRZ) brakes today as the work van goes in for a service on Monday and I drop the van off and A-Team ooot the back of the van on me boike and go for a pootle. "When do you want the van back"....take yer time says oi. Does that count as a commute?

Mostly for fun, but that also includes tutoring/mentoring with the local RoSPA group. Did about 120 miles today all in. Currently doing about 250-300 miles a week, which will increase a bit as the weather gets better.Â

Purely for fun and not very often at all.
Should probably sell it but then I'd probably never ride again and that is not allowed.

Â
Much fun was had, we do seem to be having a long wet winter this year, not many dry days,
Â
roll on some better weather

These days I only ride for fun. I was due to get some hours in this weekend but work got busy instead. If the weather comes good I hope to get some day riding in this week. Until the salt is all gone all miles will be on the TDM.
I bought a low powered jetwasher last year and that makes it easy to wash the salt off after a ride, taking the usual precautions not to blast bearings and electrics

Not really happening much these days, seem to have lost the enthusiasm, maybe to do with all the muppets on the roads or my confidence has taken a knock as some really scary driving around.....anyway a nice sunny day may change the attitude ?

I always rode for fun after returning to biking. And I avoided almost completely any wet weather. This was more to preserve the bike rather than me. But I still remember riding home from school as a 16yr. old in pelting rain, covered with helmet, scarf, trenchcoat, waterproof trousers and boots. I loved every minute of that.

The driving around these ear parts is noticeably more dangerous. I'm doing abooot 35,000 moiles a year in the van and its a bit like waiting to win a shoitey lottery!!!!
