Went up to Ramos to do his first shim check in his new (to him) 10 plate TDM. Some inlets were below limits, but easy to sort out. Cover gasket was a bit hard but fitted a new genuine one.

The cams were perfect. Coffee and cake was superb as usual.

Ramo took off plastics, airbox and propped tank up first

Due to Ramos tank prop being made from a bit of steel drawer runner and causing me to wince every time I saw it, I felt it was my duty to upgrade him to a properly made alloy one with stainless fittings.

does that attach to a mounting point on the tank and one on the frame ?, it looks nice and sturdy,

you probably wouldn't like my method of a bungee hooked to the front of the tank and the other end onto the grab rail, with protective rags under the hooks of course (may not be very effective if the tank is full of fuel )  :unsure2:

Well earned i must say    was in the Domincan, 30 degrees and the bits of fluff mostly had beer bellies to shame the men.. I'm fine Ramo cheers matey, hope your good also, mybe catch up over the holibobs  :good:
