Which bike? I don't recognise the pic but it looks horribly like an oil pickup full of bearing fragments to me, no doubt there's a similar worm in an oilway somewhere.

Yeah left is sump oil strainer..right the worm that were curled up in the oil strainer. Is an 850. Not sure which of the garden ornaments it was from. Now have leak free roof on storage so able to sort a TDM parts emporium.

At work it's generally termed as "making metal" which on a lycoming usually means cam failure, or piston pin plugs if they are lucky.

I identified at least 3 types of sealant in mine
