You do n'all!
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
Took carbs apart didnt see anything wrong inside all nice and clean, got the carb cleaner out anyway, all back together and blowing in the fuel inlet tip the carbs so needles drop air goes in tip the carbs up and needles shut cant blow any more...So carbs seem ok.Have an idea to get around the missing piece, will photo when done.

It could be the fuel pump allowing fuel to escape down the vacuum pipe that goes to the no1 cylinder inlet spigot Mick.

I moved on to other stuff...Now back on the TDM and guess what Studders it was as you said fuel going in via the vacum tube first occasion fuel went into engine but spotted that so did an oil change two more times and the intake valves were shut so lucky there had fuel leaking out of exhaust where it was pumping straight through so lucky that didnt go bang, but changed the diaphram pump for another all good at the mo,will put tank back on tomorrow.Top bannana Studders thanks. :good:
Good to hear Mick 👍
