I know what you mean. I recall my first G2G back in 2010 in Aviemore. There were about 15 of us and at the head of the pack heading into the sunshine were TonyD, ChrisG and a guy who's name I forget, but was on a cracking TRX. I settled back in the pack trying to work out why the guy in front could go round corners quicker than me, despite having more or less an identical bike. I realised then that he was just a better rider than me.
2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies
2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

Maybe Mitch on the TRX, TonyD is certainly fast, ChrisG also but Trev's a dark horse  he can switch it on as well, pretty sure he led TonyD on an G2G, dust in the distance they were.

I had that following Big Dave on one of my earlier Carpe G2G's
Â
Possibly Hutch (Warren) you're thinking off on the TRX if that was the one where he ran out of fuel and we had to siphon some out the tank of someone's mate on BMWÂ :rotflmmfao:
