It Lives!
For those of you who followed the sorry saga of my Honda CB 550, I have exciting news!

[attachment=o14980]

Six years on, more money (much more!) than its worth and much anger and anguish but here it is. Not perfect but I think it needs riding and a bit of fine tuning. It wouldnt have got to this stage without the help of Mr Henty (thanks Lee) but would have cost almost as much and been scrap. I hope Peter Thorne is still behind bars and will never take Henry Cole seriously again, pair of tossers. Ill let you know how we go.

Good to hear it live after it's tangle with incompetence. :good:

What fluid are you using with that ultrasonic tank Lee? We had some at work that tended to turn bike carbs black if left in for any length of time.

I've been using watered down bike cleaner, Muc off, seems to work ok. Be interested to hear what others are using.

Using the specific bottle of concentrate that came with it meant for carbs. 1:10 dilution. Tank is 9 litres so big enough for two carbs

Any water based surfactant would probably work. Bike sounds lovely and even so that electronic ignition kit is doing the job.

Needs to be water based to create the cavitation it might work

Mr Thorne would contemplating the error of his ways quite painfully, if I was in charge of the correctional facility. The front brake was unsafe.
