Tooling Up
I need a new drill press for the workshop (old aluminium case 5 speed job has had it's last rotation), for occasional use - light  industrial.

Need a minimum of 100mm vertical travel, above the table. A table that can be tilted and can also rotate around the pillar.

Lots out there...........

Anyone got a brand / variety recomendation they'd care to share.

Single or three phase is ok too.

TIA

I'd avoid the el cheapo chinese stuff if possible. I have used Excel machine tools for years. The kit lasts, the lathe came from them in 1996 and it's still running fine. Obviously it depends on your use and budget. I still run Dad's old Atlas that's probably older than me. It's been rebuilt a few times.
