Did anyone here go to Silverstone last week for the MotoGP?

I've read that a ticket for Sunday was £90 and parking for a car was £30 !!

I'm still on a  couple of Marshalls pages and they said many of the Grandstands were nearly empty, I wonder why?

I saw the Repsol Honda and the ohlins lorries heading there.....that's all I could afford. ⊙.☉
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
It was VERY quiet compared to past years. They moved it from August Bank Holiday weekend for one and also I would assume a lot of people are away with school holidays etc. Was more like a BSB meeting numbers wise

Went on Friday for practice, tickets were £20 and parking £16.

Seemed busier than past years, but I did notice on TV how many empty seats there were in the stands for race day.

Read that Sunday attendance was 41000 where last year was 80000. Apparently TV audience figures were also down, by how much I don't know.

The best thing about being old is we did all our stupid stuff before the Internet was invented, so there’s no proof.
Was gonna go but for that very reason we opted for a wsb meet at donnington a few weeks ago instead...
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
41k this year, last year was 67k so a huge drop in numbers
Was live on ITV though for the first time on ages, that probably had some effect
Suppose they get enough tv revenue to not care about actual numbers attending, they will when no one can afford tv subscriptions!
Hold on - live on ITV you say? How did I miss that?

Crikey! That's more than what I pay for a MotoGP subscription.

Shame about the turn out, I thought the racing across all classes was great. Moto 3 melts my head, it's almost impossible to keep track of what is happening.
TDM 850 Loud and unusual. CRM 250r Woo hoo! DT 230 Lanza Fiddled with.... Bloody hell, is that legal? GG Randonee AKA "I didn't think that was possible".
