Nice z650's It was a z650 that first sparked my interest in mokeyboikes when I was a spotty yoof, mid to late 70's. Loved the compact look of it. Still do actually.
Its funny that i had no interest in them back then....after my ke175 then kh400 the next bike was a Z500, GPZ750, ZXR750, ZX7R....and up a few months ago i had four Z650'S....3 now.....
But i have to say the TDM is the best all round bike i've had to date...

79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.
Had a good run out with a local pal, on his Kwacker, making an impromptu stop at the Jim Clark Museum in Duns, which is an interesting stop, and by the end of the run the odometer clicked over 110k miles. Every now and then I think I can hear a bit of piston slap, but it's probably just a minor intermittent ticking noise, MITN.
Nice ride Al, you reached the land of superb beer and sausage :good: stay away from Stuttgart and the biggest Hurenhaus in Europe, or notÂ

In Barwies Austria for a few days. Rained on for an hour or so today but dry 40mins after. Lovely wet roads today but cars going really slow through wet bends .... speed cameras by the thousands too. Warned about a mobile trap by a trucker who spotted my exuberant off seat, toes on pegs (dry), style/progress.
