That's reet nice that is! I had a little herd of Z650's in various guises many moons ago, always did have a soft spot for them.

Current toys: '99 XT600E, 2000 4TX, '82 Princess 30DS (where the username comes from), No longer a '03 Fazer thou.

Save the planet, it's the only one with beer!
Built this too...plus another one in the same 70's enduro style....

Had to smallerise it.... Tongue
Nice z650's Cool It was a z650 that first sparked my interest in mokeyboikes when I was a spotty yoof,  mid to late 70's. Loved the compact look of it. Still do actually.
Its funny that i had no interest in them back then....after my ke175 then kh400 the next bike was a Z500, GPZ750, ZXR750, ZX7R....and up a few months ago i had four Z650'S....3 now.....

But i have to say the TDM is the best all round bike i've had to date... Smile

Yeah..its a twin shoe but its hydraulically operated.......since that pic it has a hydraulic clutch too...
Had a good run out with a local pal, on his Kwacker, making an impromptu stop at the Jim Clark Museum in Duns, which is an interesting stop, and by the end of the run the odometer clicked over 110k miles. Every now and then I think I can hear a bit of piston slap, but it's probably just a minor intermittent ticking noise, MITN.

<p style="text-align:center;">Ohlins, PC3, fuel cut defeat, +4deg timing, 17" front wheel.
You're a tdm owner, that clicking is more likely to be knees hips, or spine, we're all getting there.

Don't accuse the bike.

Off to the annual tyre kicking session. 20 years old now, passed no advisories and the yearly stipend paid to ride on rough potholed roads.

All back together after valve clearance adjustment. No leaks and running like a Swiss watch

Fresh MOT, no advisories.  :good:

Another 12 months of fun awaits, and 24k miles before it needs doing again.

The best thing about being old is we did all our stupid stuff before the Internet was invented, so there’s no proof.
Rode the very nice backroads from Geetbets to Dobel.

You dawg ! lol Weather holding up Al ?
In Barwies Austria for a few days. Rained on for an hour or so today but dry 40mins after. Lovely wet roads today but cars going really slow through wet bends .... speed cameras by the thousands too. Warned about a mobile trap by a trucker who spotted my exuberant off seat, toes on pegs (dry), style/progress. Wink
