Well, the starting issues may be blocked carbs since broke down on M27 yesterday after running Ok for 10 miles then cutting out so thought it was out of fuel but wouldn’t start on reserve either so had to get recovered. Looking in the tank its full of crap so looks like its going to be a tank clean out with vinegar and clean carbs with carb cleaner then see what its like with new fuel. Probably change fuel pump since got a Chinese copy spare and strip tap as well while its apart. Out of interest where is the choke cable mean to be mounted since previous owner has it next to clocks but its not working so want to put it back where it should be.

Reserve requires ewe to ewes the force. I get a polite cough (do excuse me) at which point switch to reserve and carry on riding. If your boike doesn't do the polite cough or you is too slow then you are back in the situation of starting with empty bloat foals.

Same issue yesterday..bike left for a couple of weeks....wore down the battery but dry plugs....unmounted the tank and held it aloft...fired straight up...pump is knackered , seems when the fuel is low it struggles to feed...

Just got back from Southampton, not that It'd have been any help.

Was in the Coop garage this morn and there were two bikes trying to start a hog via jump wires, hog was having none of it.
