Rode up 286 miles going to visit AliG for a bit of a fettle day. Niner is the bike for the job. Didn't miss a beat.

No. Tools, tools and more tools. Very productive day. New fork seals on my Bonny and a TDM, plus various farkles on the Bonny. Going riding tomorrow.
2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

Well he got a stainless choke knob for his Triumph, plus some very nice anodised headlight brackets and spacers I made to lift the aftermarket meter mounting plate up by 20 mm.
Sounds like a posh version of the bin liner, slice of orange, and bottle of poppers so many mp's were found dead with back in the 80s....

Only Lee could come up with a way of making a collapsible fork tool that fit in his luggage. Tested on my white niner and worked a treat. He takes mobile mechaniking to a new level. Took him for a tour of East Lothian and the coast towards Berwick on Sunday. We were having so much fun in the sun, that we forgot to take pics. Sorry guys. Bike running a treat. Thanks again Lee.

Well I arrived home 15:30 bike immediately cleaned as it was in a sorry state. I did 757 miles in total, doing about 225 per tank. The TDM is the bike for me, comfortable, plenty of torque to the hills of the carter bar and staying power on the super slab, always starts first poke. It's also relatively cheap to run which is probably why the scots like them.
Lol I see you saved the last comment until you were back on English soil.
