What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today?
I should also add the the Altbergs  I bought last year also feel like an old pair of slippers. Proper comfortable now they’ve broken in.

Passed MOT today.

Some youngun on a 125 wanted to race from the lights, I keep looking at him and he was getting real jittery. Lights changed and he went belting away and I just sat there, van driver behind him was laughing too.

interesting,  thanks

I’m running Dexron 3 in mine with upgraded springs and it’s fine for me (I’m around the 85kg in riding gear). The one thing I’ve noticed is that it’s consistent with temperature compared to normal (granted, old) fork oil. Hot weather, cold weather and after a spirited run it still feels the same damping wise. It is just a tad soft on rebound, but not enough to be concerned about. Compared to the old springs and old 12.5w oil, it’s a revaluation!
Niner took for M.O.T. today passed and only did 3500 last year (note to self) "Must try harder"  Huh :good:

For a challenging summer try the

Took mine for an mot too, passed with compliments (as always) If you’re in my area (South London/Surrey) can I recommend Chessington Motorcycles, been there forever but now thinking of packing it in as at £29.95 mots are not cost effective. Be a shame to  lose the last small bike shop in the area.

Fitted new rear tyre, disc and pads, then took for MOT. Passed of course, but with an advisory on the front tyre. There is a new one sitting in the hall. I put the charger on the battery while I was doing the work and then went to start. She has been sitting on the ramp since last August and hasn't been started. Fired instantly and was running a treat. Took a slightly longer route to get to the MOT station. Ready for a little excursion at the end of the month.
2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

Nowt, waiting on disks and bit from Dabbers and caliper seal kits from wemoto so I can put it back together.

Must wash those mouldy fies off when it comes out of the shed...

Wheels in, calipers rebuilt with new pads, Dabbers old discs after a quick polish up in the lathe and a spin of the bobbins, Dabbers old braided hoses, oil and filter changed and back in the garage, maybe take it for mot thursday evening after work but doubt I'll tax it till april.

WTF where the yam designers smoking when they come up with the oil filter and filling setup on these things, messy sodding job.

Them lines fit good, a bit of a twist at the mc end and a teensy bit long but fine, I may get some longer risers now as I was pushing it lengthwise with the standard (well 9er standard) hoses.

A spin up through a bit of black scotchbrite did them discs a good clean up.

Yeah I got the tap off fleabay (new old stock) with a view to being able to empty the fuel system when standing for longer periods, the reserve is plumbed to an open hose running up under the seat so I could run it out of fuel and let it draw air in or maybe run it off a small bottle of aspen (chainsaw fuel that don't go off or gum up) if I could be arsed, I found the hoses I used were a bit fat and must have compressed somewhere as it started to die at full throttle, they were pretty tight to get in, I put the old hoses back on and it was fine and not yet reconnected the tap, I should get round to finding some thinner walled hoses and having another go.

It is a MK2a the tap is just there to test you, well done you passed! :good:

Brakes good, mot passed, 5 mins of test and 15 mins of standing around chatting to the tester....

At £29.65 that's a good rate.
