File Quotas/size Limits Vs. 2022
Sorry if this has been covered, and if I accidentally stir the pot/swear in church.

Isn't there a way to increase the photo/file upload quota across the board? I love an old-style forum as opposed to FB etc. pages, but with current smartphone cameras the limits are prohibitive and I know I like to see photos of DIYs and issues and tech and sunset rides and whatnot. I'd be more than happy to become a supporting member, but the 50MB limit is still pretty tiny these days?

We could increase the limit but we would have to pay extra for it. Being a non-profit ad free site, we need to keep costs as low as possible.  That way we can offer free continuing membership (Pay once and the following years will most likely cost you nothing) and we get to preserve the wealth of TDM information that many members find invaluable and well worth the £5.

That's a fair point about keeping it free Studders. I can't speak for all the supporting members, but I'd happily pay annually if it means we can bring it more up to date capacity wise. I for one have had my money's worth since 2005!

Best bet is upload them to Imgur or similar and then hit the image button and pasting the link it.  No size limits beyond the recipients screen size then.
