What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today?
MOT due next week so started her up after a layup and no problems.

I'll be changing the oil and filter next week too as half term and got 3 days off.

Just signed up for the IAM course as got a discount from the M/C bike show

"As I Lay Rubber down to street, I pray for traction I can keep. But if I skid and begin to slide, please dear god protect my ride"

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs,  fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.
I've meant to charge the battery for some time, but forgotten about it. It's been sat in the garage since maybe November? Pretty cold, too, gets down to a couple of minus inside the garage. Can't remember date of last ride, but it was pretty late last year. Anyhoo, it still turned over, but not quite enough juice to actually fire. So charged it a few hours, and it fired right up.

It is the least troublesome piece of machinery I've ever owned, down to and including my nailcutters.

2002 TDM 900 Red/Yellow Cocktail (it's yellow)., biggified some
Booked the Shields ferry on Monday for a shortish ride out on the 9er come April/May and then totally ignored the bike as a second Cherrypicker project arrived yesterday extending current no riding time by a couple of weeks.

Hasn't done his 'honey do' list.
Booked an Mot for March 2nd after a year of near neglect. I've had a great time on the 650 gs, but shame, and an impending date with Morris dancers, has pushed me back to where I knew I'd return. Looking forward to it no end..
Lock onto my co-ordinates and beam me up !!

04 900 - 92 mk 1 - r 1150 rs - Z550 A1 - 2x bonnies - plastic slug -XL185 - ...not in that order !! (and one or two i don't want / dare to own up to !!)
TDM you just know it's right. I've test ridden quite a few new bikes but they just don't do it for me. Well not enough to justify the eye watering prices.

I got the Sunday afternoon shiny bike (Trumpet) but for long distances I roll out the venerable TDM.
Lubed a sticky gear shift pivot and washed the bike, then took my corona virus for a brap. It never ceases to amaze me how much faster a clean bike is.

rode the mod 1 route for my IAM course, tried out the new electric waistcoat but it was warm on its own so no power needed.

bike ran great, gave it a wash and changed the oil and oil filter.

Anyone use the mahle filters? all plastic and I fully expected then to break as the covers have to be closed up in tension.

Due to other commitments - had to put the charger on it as I won't be using the bike for a week or more Confusedorry:
